Job summary

Golden Years In-Home Senior Care in Escondido, CA is hiring Home Care Aides (HCA) for immediate full-time positions. Pay rate is $18-$20 per hour based on experience. Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship.

Requirements include being a current HCA registered with the California DSS, a current TB test, and the ability to pass a background check. CPR/First Aid is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Home Care Aide (HCA) registered with the California Department of Social Services.
• TB test must be current (within the last 24 months).
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred but not required.
• Must pass a background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to seniors, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
• Offer medication reminders and assist with client appointments.
• Help with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a clean and safe living environment.
• Engage in activities to promote social interaction and emotional well-being.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition to supervisors.
• Provide companionship and ensure a caring, supportive environment.
