NFI North’s Boscawen Certified Residential Program (CRP) is seeking compassionate, highly skilled, and reliable Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to serve as part of our team. The PCA provides an integrated medically oriented service model through the oversight and support of the Program Registered Nurse while offering the non-medical services of Personal Care through a participant directed model. In this demanding but highly rewarding role, you will work with our participants to support their physical and mental health needs in their everyday lives so they can remain in the CRP setting. As a PCA you will focus on helping them with basic personal hygiene and domestic tasks as needed, according to their requirements and limitations. You will provide compassionate care and assistance and document participant progress, either written, electronically or verbally, to help ensure their overall wellbeing.
High School Diploma, GED, advanced degree or credits preferred, or combination of education and/or experience. Minimum one year of experience working in a healthcare setting. High energy level, superior interpersonal skills and ability to function in a team atmosphere.
