Job summary

Arcadia New England Home Care is seeking compassionate Personal Care Aides (PSS or CNA) to provide in-home care to elderly clients in Maine. You will support daily living activities with dignity and respect, tailoring care to each client’s needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of healthcare or related field experience; new graduates welcome.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds or more.
• Background and driving record check required.
• Current auto insurance and access to a car for transportation.

About the Role

As a Personal Care Aide, you will provide a range of personal care services to our clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily living activities. You will work closely with our clients and their families to understand their unique needs and preferences, and provide personalized care with a focus on dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services to elderly patients in their homes
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help with medication management and other healthcare tasks
• Maintain accurate records of client care and services provided
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare team members
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality care and customer satisfaction

Requirements
