Job summary

Amada Senior Care in Port Arthur, TX is hiring caregivers to provide compassionate, non-medical care and companionship in clients' homes. You'll work flexible schedules and be part of a supportive team dedicated to helping seniors stay safe, comfortable, and independent.

No medical training required beyond passion and reliability; two years of caregiving experience preferred, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel throughout Port Arthur and surrounding communities.
• Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility and transfers; provide transportation to appointments.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Encourage independence and engagement.
