Job summary

Amada Senior Care - Central Houston is actively hiring compassionate caregivers in Pearland, TX, for part-time, flexible shifts. Travel to surrounding areas is required, with a supportive team and in-office orientation to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of caregiving experience required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Willing to travel within 20 miles of Pearland, TX.
• Experience with a Hoyer lift and gait belt preferred.
• Must pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Providing Companionship: Build meaningful relationships and offer emotional support.
• Assisting with Personal Care: Help clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
• Providing Medication Reminders: Help clients stay on schedule with their medications.
• Supporting Mobility and Independence: Assist with mobility, errands, and appointments.
• Preparing Meals and Light Housekeeping: Help maintain a clean, comfortable home and prepare nutritious meals.
• Monitoring Client Well-Being: Observe and report changes in a client's condition to support ongoing care.
• Encouraging Daily Activities: Help clients stay engaged and as independent as possible.

How You'll Make a Difference

As a caregiver with Amada Senior Care, you'll provide non-medical, in-home support that helps seniors and veterans maintain their independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• At least 2 years of caregiving experience required.
• Hands-on experience using a Hoyer lift and gait belt is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening.
• Willingness to work with both male and female clients.
• Ability and willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius of Pearland, Texas.
• A compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
