Amada Senior Care in Shepherd, TX is hiring caregivers to provide compassionate, non-medical care and companionship in clients’ homes. We offer flexible scheduling, competitive pay, health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, and a supportive team.

Part-time, weekend, and overnight shifts are available, with referral bonuses and a positive, team‑oriented environment. Qualifications include at least 2 years of caregiving experience and reliable transportation, with willingness to travel within 25 miles.

• Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts is a plus.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Willingness to travel within a 25-mile radius of Shepherd, TX.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism.

Responsabilidades

• Provide non-medical care and companionship tailored to each client's needs.
• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) and mobility.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders and transportation to appointments.
• Offer companionship and emotional support; encourage independence.
• Communicate effectively with clients and families to ensure comfort and safety.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, non-medical care and companionship tailored to each client's individual needs.

Responsibilities May Include:

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Preparing meals and performing light housekeeping
• Providing medication reminders
• Assisting with mobility and transfers
• Providing transportation to appointments and errands
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Encouraging client independence and engagement
