Interim HealthCare is hiring a Personal Care Aide (PCA)/Caregiver in Ellisville, MO. This role offers 1:1 client care, flexible scheduling, and online training to help you balance life and work while making a difference in clients' lives at home.

You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help clients stay safe. A High School diploma (or equivalent), CPR, and healthcare experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support for seniors to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Assist with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and report any concerns to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe home environment with clear pathways.
• Engage clients in activities they enjoy, such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.

As a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship

• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Personal Care Aides/Caregivers:

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• CPR certification
• Valid MO driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
