Forest City Personal Care Home in Forest City, PA is seeking compassionate Personal Care Aides (PCA) to join our dedicated team. This role offers part-time shifts and weekend availability, with opportunities for training to become Medication Technicians (Med Techs).

You will assist residents with daily living, provide companionship, help with meals, and report changes to staff. No prior caregiving is required, though you must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and be reliable and caring.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with nail care and other routine personal care tasks.
• Administer medications to residents who are not self-administering, following training and procedures.
• Assist residents during mealtimes and help ensure nutritional needs are met.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and collaborate with nursing staff.
