Job summary

ModivCare in Utica, NY is seeking a Certified Caregiver (PCA or HHA) to deliver one-on-one in-home care and companionship.

You will assist clients with daily activities, maintain a safe living space, and provide reminders for medications and healthy routines. Flexible shifts between 8am and 7pm with potential for growth in caregiver excellence.

Qualifications

• Active PCA or HHA certification is required.
• Availability to work in Utica, NY.
• Weekdays and/or weekends, 8am–7pm.
• Reliable transportation preferred.
• Demonstrates compassion, reliability, trustworthiness and honesty.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care and companionship in clients' homes.
• Assist with daily activities (dressing, bathing, meals) while promoting safety.
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming.
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines.

Job Requirements:

• Active Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification REQUIRED
• Availability to work in Utica, NY
• Availability to work weekdays and/or weekends, between the hours of 8am-7pm
• Reliable transportation, drivers preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
