Job summary

Brethren Care Village is recruiting a Personal Care Aide (PCA) for Bradford Houses in Ashland, OH. The role includes assisting residents with daily activities, meals, and mobility, with a focus on compassionate dementia care.

This full-time/part-time/PRN position offers day, evening, or night shifts with a pay range of $15 to $18.55 per hour, depending on experience, shift, and weekend differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in caregiving, geriatrics, or related field preferred but not required.
• Ability to work onsite and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, dining).
• Provide compassionate care for individuals with dementia.
• Prepare and serve meals following food safety guidelines.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a clean home environment.
• Support residents with transportation, errands, and daily routines.
• Communicate resident needs and changes with the care team.
• Follow safety procedures and assist with basic care tasks under supervision.
