Interim HealthCare is seeking a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver in Chattooga County, GA. This role offers flexible scheduling and 1:1 client ratios to help balance life and work.

You will provide in-home care, assist with daily activities, manage medications reminders, and support clients with mobility and safety in their homes. The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and GA PCA certificate (employer helps with certification), CPR/First Aid, TB screening, a valid GA driver’s

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and Personal Care Assistant certificate in GA (employer will assist with certification)
• One year of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certification and TB screening within 12 months
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies
