Duties:

• Personal Health Care
• Light Housekeeping
• Simple Meal Preparation
• Assistance with Bathing & Grooming

Requirements:

• Assist clients with dressing, feeding, hair care, mouth care, shaving (electric or safety razor only), nail care (excluding trimming), positioning, toileting, and transfers.
• Physically able to push and pull a minimum of 100 pounds and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to move in tight spaces, between objects and furniture.
• Perform duties requiring standing, walking, squatting, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, twisting, sitting, and reaching.
• Perform physical functions continuously for up to an hour without rest.

Additional Requirements:

• Active member on the Health Care Worker Registry
• Two references
• One year experience as a homemaker or related supervisory skills
• High school diploma/GED
• Pass all background checks
• Complete IDOA CCP training for Homemaker Supervisor
• Vehicle insurance and reliable transportation
• Flexible to work in various client homes
• Excellent communication skills for weekly updates
