Job summary

Interim HealthCare of NE Florida is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide/Caregiver to assist seniors in Jacksonville, FL, and surrounding areas. This role offers part-time hours with competitive pay and the flexibility to set your schedule while helping clients live safely and happily at home.

Responsibilities include personal care, daily living activities, medication reminders, and engaging clients in enriching activities.

Qualifications

• CNA license or HHA certificate required.
• Six months of experience in a healthcare role preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid Florida driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate and helpful with good communication; able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document condition and notify a supervisor of concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways; engage clients in activities they enjoy.
