Job summary

Seaton Senior Living is seeking a Care Giver to join our team. The role involves providing hands-on personal care, emotional support, and maintaining a safe, home-like environment for residents in our Mid Atlantic communities.

You will assist with daily living activities, promote independence and dignity, and engage residents in life-enrichment activities. A high school diploma or GED is required, and prior experience with seniors is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with seniors is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas.
• Help residents maintain independence while promoting dignity and safety.
• Assist with activities of daily living as instructed (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transfers, eating).
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities.

Our community is looking for a Care Giver to join our team.

The Personal Care Aide's role includes providing hands on care and physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management and co-workers
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Must demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
