Job summary

Arcadia Homecare and Staffing is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in their own homes. You will follow care plans, assist with daily living activities, provide light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation to appointments and errands.

We offer flexible scheduling, full-time or part-time hours, direct deposit, daily pay, referral bonuses, recognition programs, 24-hour live on-call support, and training at no cost to you.

Qualifications

• One year caregiving experience preferred.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Must be reliable, energetic, self-motivated, and well-organized.
• Comfortable using a cell phone.
• Three references (2 professional and 1 personal) required at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan for the client and report on completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, etc.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Following a care plan for the client and reporting on completed task
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care etc.
• Provide light housekeeping, bed changes, and laundry
• Provide meal prep and planning
• Assist clients with medication reminders
• Provide transportation to appointments, shopping or other errands
• Companionship
• Observing and reporting any changes in client’s condition
