Job summary

Addus HomeCare, along with Arcadia Home Care & Staffing, is seeking caring individuals to help clients stay happy and healthy in their homes. Join our team for meaningful, independent work with support and training provided.

Responsibilities include following care plans, assisting with personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, medication reminders, transportation, companionship, and reporting changes. We offer flexible schedules, full- or part-time hours, direct deposit, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• One year caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle (required).
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Three references (2 professional and 1 personal) will be required at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Following a care plan for the client and reporting on completed task.
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care etc.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Following a care plan for the client and reporting on completed task
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care etc.
• Provide light housekeeping, bed changes, and laundry
• Provide meal prep and planning
• Assist clients with medication reminders
• Provide transportation to appointments, shopping or other errands
• Companionship
• Observing and reporting any changes in client’s condition
