Job summary

Pickering Manor in Newtown, PA is seeking a compassionate Care Aide for part-time shifts to support residents in long-term care and home settings.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal preparation, and assisting with daily activities, while upholding resident rights and safety. CPR certification, first aid, and experience with memory care and developmental disabilities are highly valued. Hourly pay includes a $3 evening shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Direct Care Worker certification for Pennsylvania required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or home & community care settings preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid and assisted living practices preferred.
• Familiarity with ADLs and memory care highly valued.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and Alzheimer's is desired.
