Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Aide to support patients with essential daily activities and comfort.

You will provide 1:1 patient care, assist with hygiene, nutrition, and light housekeeping, and help navigate the healthcare system by coordinating with our nursing team. Qualifications

• 6 months of verifiable experience in assisting patients in personal care.
• Ability to follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient's condition.
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work location.
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily hygiene activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nutritional intake.
• Help with daily living activities like light housekeeping, shopping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
• Provide companionship and conversation to support patient well-being.
• Schedule appointments and communicate needs to the nursing team as appropriate.

As a Personal Care Aide, you will:

• Assist patients with daily hygiene activities, such bathing, grooming, toileting and elimination, and nutritional intake.
• Help patients with daily living deeds, such as, light housekeeping, shopping, preparing meals, and grocery shopping
• Provide companionship and conversation; even the smallest interaction means a lot
• Help the patient navigate the healthcare system by scheduling appointments and communicating needs to our nursing team, when appropriate

To qualify for a Personal Care Aide with us, you will need:

• 6 months of verifiable experience in assisting patients in personal care
• Attention to detail; able to carefully follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient's condition.
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work location
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
