The position requires reliable transportation and a current PCA/HHA/CNA certification, with CPR/First Aid preferred. Schedule: Mon-Sun, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, total approx. 56 hours per week.

Qualifications

• TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months.
• Background check clearance required.
• Reliable transportation to and from client home.

Position Overview

• Location: Herndon, VA


• Role: Personal Care Aide (PCA)


• Setting: Client's private home


• Client Needs: Assistance with all ADLs and IADLs


• Environment: Supportive household; client lives with family

Client Care Needs

• ADL Support - bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, mobility, transfers


• IADL Support - meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, errands


• Safety Monitoring - fall prevention, cueing, standby assistance


• Companionship - conversation, emotional support, engagement in daily routines

Schedule

• Days: Monday through Sunday


• Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM


• Total Weekly Hours: 56 hours


• Schedule Flexibility may be required for occasional changes

Job Responsibilities

• Provide personal care in a respectful, dignified manner


• Assist with mobility including transfers and ambulation
