Interim HealthCare Inc. seeks a compassionate Home Health Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide one-on-one in-home care for clients in Dugspur, VA and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, or PRN options and pays $13.50 hourly.

You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, monitor client health, and maintain a safe home environment while reporting changes to the care team. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in Virginia required.
• Six (6) months of healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR certification and TB baseline screening required.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to clients in a home setting.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, and transportation assistance.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and observe/report changes in client condition.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Offer companionship and participate in activities clients enjoy such as reading, games, puzzles, and hobbies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with supervisors and care team members.
