Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a hands-on Digital Marketing & Growth Specialist to support a high-profile business executive in growing their digital presence, audience, and personal brand. This freelance, remote engagement totals about 50 hours per month across content, SEO, website optimisation, audience growth, communities, analytics, and paid channels.

You’ll work across channels to improve visibility, optimise landing pages and user journeys, and identify opportunities to expand reach.

Qualifications

• Experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, content marketing, or audience development.
• Hands-on experience across multiple digital marketing channels.
• Working knowledge of SEO, content, website optimisation, analytics, and paid media.
• Proactive and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Experience supporting executives, founders, entrepreneurs, authors, thought leaders, or personal brands is a plus.
• Experience with AEO/AI search, community marketing, audience development, or content distribution is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support digital marketing and audience growth initiatives across multiple channels.
• Improve online visibility through SEO, content optimisation, and emerging AEO/AI search practices.
• Help optimise website content, landing pages, and user journeys.
• Identify opportunities to grow reach and engagement across relevant platforms and online communities.
• Support content distribution and amplify thought leadership.
• Assist with targeted paid campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, Meta, or similar platforms.
• Monitor performance, use analytics to identify opportunities, and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with PR, communications, and social media specialists.
