Job summary

Equity Bank is hiring a Personal Banker in St. Joseph, MO (Lake) to build client relationships and deliver a superior banking experience. You will process transactions, promote products, and collaborate with bank partners to meet client needs.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance, following procedures, and assisting with bank opening/closing. Travel to Wichita, KS for week‑long training is required. High School Diploma or equivalent and basic banking experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking or financial services preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Windows-based computer systems.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable working in a team to develop solutions.
• Willingness to travel to Wichita, KS for initial training.
