Qualifications

• Typically 3–5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of banking or customer service/sales or equivalent experience.
• In-depth knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions, including cash flow and available cash management products/services.
• Previous experience in financial services required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects and identifies customer needs to provide guidance on financial solutions.
• Develops and implements an annual business development plan to maximize referrals and opportunities.
• Builds and manages a network of referral sources to grow BMO’s business and referrals to partners.
• Engages customers to complete needs assessments and recommends tailored solutions addressing sales and service needs.
• Opens dialogue about digital and self-serve options to simplify banking for customers.
• Supports customer transactions and proactively identify small business clients that are personal banking prospects.
• Resolves customer issues by applying knowledge of bank services, products, and processes.
