Job summary

Stride Bank, N.A. is seeking a Relationship Banker I to build key relationships with customers and prospective clients, focusing on personal finances, lending, and exceptional service. You will greet customers, assess needs, open accounts, and advise on products while ensuring compliance and accurate records.

You will also collaborate with teams to meet branch goals, assist with consumer loans, and handle teller-related duties as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build knowledge of all retail bank products, services and specialty lines.
• Listen to customer needs to make suitable recommendations and cross-sell solutions.
• Open and close accounts and assist with account selections while complying with BSA and CIP.
• Advise on consumer loan products, process applications, underwriting, decisions, closing and funding.
• Collaborate with others to refer customers and meet branch goals.
• Maintain teller line knowledge: transactions, cash drawers, TCRs and vault.
• Follow all compliance, security, and operations procedures and complete logs/reports.
• Non-Essential Functions: Performs other duties as assigned.
