Job summary

BMO Financial Group in the United States is seeking a customer-focused banking professional to deliver tailored financial guidance and guidance on everyday banking, lending, and investments. You will engage existing customers and prospects, assess needs, and partner with colleagues to connect clients with the right solutions across channels.

In this role you’ll originate consumer loans, support risk and regulatory compliance, and help grow BMO’s business in local markets.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree desirable or equivalent.
• Appropriate lending qualifications and designations.
• Strong knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions.
• Experience in financial services is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers to assess needs and offer tailored financial solutions across banking channels.
• Originates consumer loans and provides guidance on home financing and small business solutions.
• Ensures accurate data entry and lending recommendations in compliance with regulations.
• Makes credit recommendations in accordance with policies and procedures.
