First Mid Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a results-driven banking professional in Missouri to build customer relationships through a consultative sales approach. You will open and manage deposit products, analyze documents, and assist with loan applications to meet client needs.

The role emphasizes cross-selling within an established client base, collaborating with Mortgage, Commercial, and Investment partners, and maintaining service standards while handling branch operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the financial industry.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Must be able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions that will allow for analysis of credit and financial information.
• NMLS registration may be required at time of employment.

Responsibilities

• Use a consultative sales process to build a thorough customer profile and identify current and future financial needs.
• Opens all deposit related products including IRA, Trust, Business, POA, Estate, etc.
• Analyzes and reviews legal documentation associated with opening accounts.
• Originate consumer loan applications and assist in processing loan applications.
• May originate Home Equity related products.
• Review consumer credit report.
• Maintain knowledge of consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions.
• Cross-sell to existing customer base and engage in outside sales activities.
• Establish relationships with Business Partners and refer customers for timely financial solutions.
• Provide guidance to Universal Bankers and Tellers with respect to the sales and referral process.
• Promote customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanour and professionalism.
• Travel to other branches within region when required.
