Job summary

BMO U.S. is seeking a customer-focused banking professional to deliver exceptional service in a branch environment. You will welcome clients, guide them through digital options, and provide tailored advice on banking and investment services.

In this role you will identify opportunities to deepen client relationships, collaborate with partners, and ensure accurate, compliant handling of transactions while supporting branch objectives and customer experience improvements.

Qualifications

1–2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications.
Some experience in a consultative customer service or sales roles, with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience.
Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions to refer to specialists.

Responsibilities

Welcomes and guides customers as they walk into the branch lobby, and offers guidance on digital and self-serve options.
Identifies referral opportunities to grow the customer relationship with BMO beyond personal banking.
Conducts client conversations about banking services to recommend alternative channels and provide personal banking and investment advice.
Meets customer transaction-based needs with seamless execution.
Reviews customer profiles and engages in needs-based conversations to identify opportunities and address banking needs.
