Location: FCB Temple Wal-Mart, 3401 S. 31st St., Temple, Texas, United States

Position Type: Full Time

Requirements

• Six months of work experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a team and get along with co-workers
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule may change based on business needs)
• High school diploma, high school equivalency, or currently attending high school
• At least 18 years of age
• Must pass background investigation according to company policy

Job Description

Under immediate supervision, provides excellent customer service involving cash receipt and payment in a high-volume sales environment. Responsibilities include:

1. Following established policies and supervisor’s guidance
2. Achieving monthly new account production targets
3. Processing deposits and payouts accurately, balancing daily transactions
4. Verifying cash and check amounts, endorsements, and guarding against counterfeit checks
5. Entering transactions into the computer and issuing receipts
6. Selling and preparing money orders, cashier’s checks, wires, bonds, travelers’ checks, and certificates of deposit
7. Processing western union wires and cash advances
8. Cross-selling bank services and products
9. Serving a diverse customer base, including Spanish speakers
10. Performing additional tasks as assigned by supervisors

Environmental and Physical Requirements

• Standing or walking for extended periods
• Working in a high-volume, stressful environment
• Operating computers and office machinery
• Lifting up to 25 lbs
