Job summary

FNBT is seeking a bank teller to deliver exceptional service in a high-volume branch. You will handle cash, process deposits and payments, and balance daily transactions while identifying opportunities to cross-sell bank services.

The role requires strong customer service, accuracy, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends; Spanish-speaking skills are valued to assist a diverse customer base.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma, high school equivalency or currently attending high school.
• Six months of work experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, handling cash receipts and payments in a high-volume sales setting.
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products and services.
• Follow bank policies and supervisor directions.
• Aim for monthly new account production as assigned by leadership.
• Engage in in-store prospecting within a sales environment.
• Process deposits and cash payouts and balance daily operations.
