Beal Bank USA is seeking a Retail Banking Specialist to provide frontline service to customers and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations. The role includes handling a range of transactions, account openings, and branch responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and security.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of customer service experience, proficiency with 10-key and Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn banking software quickly.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately per bank policies and regulations (account openings, servicing, closings).
• Perform teller duties: cash checks, deposits, withdrawals, and issue Monetary Instruments.
• Balance cash drawer and assist with cash vault balancing; maintain organized work area.
• Answer calls, address questions, escalate issues to internal resources as needed.
• Image customer documents and perform quality control checks on imaged documents.
• Support CRA activities to meet monthly goals.
• Engage customers to enhance satisfaction and protect confidentiality.

Summary:
The Retail Banking Specialist is responsible for providing frontline support and service to current and potential customers ensuring all bank policies, procedures and regulatory compliance are adhered to.

The Retail Banking Specialist is responsible for providing frontline support and service to current and potential customers ensuring all bank policies, procedures and regulatory compliance are adhered to.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

• Process a variety of customer transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with bank policies and regulations. This includes the opening, servicing and closing of all account products offered by the bank (CDs, Money Market, Statement Savings and Retirement Accounts).
• Teller transactions such as cashing checks, processing deposits and withdrawals, issuing Monetary Instruments, placing stop payments, etc.
• Performs opening, closing, and other branch servicing duties. Balancing cash drawer, assist with cash vault balancing, opening and processing of incoming mail, completing logs, reports, some audits and control checks while maintaining a neat and organized work area.
• Answer incoming phone calls, address customer questions and concerns and elevate any problems, concerns, or disputes to appropriate internal resources for resolution as appropriate.
• Imaging of customer documents and quality control check of documents once imaged.
• Enhances customer satisfaction and the professional reputation of the Bank, by warmly greeting, engaging, and developing good professional relationships with customers.
• Practices branch security procedures and protects customer confidentiality and privacy.
• Actively participate in CRA activities to ensure that all required monthly goals are met.
• Performs other job‑related duties or special projects as assigned.
  

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Computer Skills, Certifications, Etc.):

• Prior experience as a teller or new account representative preferred
• Minimum 2-4 years customer service experience
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Proficiency with 10-key touch and Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn banking software applications.
• Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, banking products, services, policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and decision‑making skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to remain composed and maintain a positive attitude when interacting with customers and internal team members.
