Job summary

UMB Financial Corporation is seeking a Personal Banker in Albuquerque to build relationships and tailor financial solutions. You will learn UMB’s products, follow the sales process, and work with leadership to enhance customer experiences while expanding your own book of business.

Qualifying candidates have a HS diploma and 2 years in retail banking sales, with ability to obtain NMLS within 90 days and flexibility for branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of retail banking sales or related experience.
• Ability to obtain an NMLS registration within 90 days.
• Strong communication, problem solving and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to learn products quickly and accurately, and work flexible branch hours.

Responsibilities

• Ask personalized questions to identify customer needs and present financial solutions.
• Develop and manage a loan pipeline with cross-selling of home equity loans, LOCs, personal loans, auto loans and mortgage referrals.
• Create sales opportunities through networking and proactive sourcing to grow the customer base.
• Learn banking processes and complete transactions according to standards.
• Consistently meet or exceed daily performance metrics while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
