Job summary

SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union is seeking a Personal Banker (Member Service Representative II) to deliver high-quality, face-to-face service at branches. You will promote credit union products, process transactions, and maintain memb er records while ensuring regulatory compliance in daily operations.

You will also perform file maintenance, assist with vault duties, and support team activities to ensure smooth service flow and accurate cash handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of related experience required.
• Notary License required.
• Participation in the CA DMV pull program may be required depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality face-to-face service to members seeking account assistance.
• Provide information and promote credit union products to build relationships.
• Process transactions in general areas of savings, loans, and auxiliary credit union services.
• Perform file maintenance, such as address changes, check orders, and ATM card requests.
• Assist with vault and night drop duties as assigned.
• Support morning and evening branch preparation and assist teammates throughout the day.
• Maintain cash and negotiables and ensure proper cash handling procedures.
• Provide suggestions for streamlining departmental and credit union operations.
• Process new memberships, share accounts, savings services, and consumer loan requests.
• Conduct research on accounts to identify and correct member account problems.
• Deliver consultative services by assessing member needs, addressing concerns, and gaining agreement.
• Comply with BSA regulations and other regulatory and training requirements; failure may result in disciplinary action.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Providing world‑class member service to individuals visiting branch or service center locations. Responsible for promoting credit union products and services, processing transactions related to savings, loans, and auxiliary services, maintaining membership records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Pay Range

$24.56 – $35.62 per hour
