Personal Banker (Member Service Representative III)

Pay Range: $26.62 – $38.60 per hour.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 20–30 (part‑time).

Location: Northridge Branch, 8601 Devonshire Street, Northridge, CA 91324.

Responsibilities

• Provide world‑class member service to branch and service center visitors.
• Promote credit union products and services, building relationships.
• Process transactions for savings, consumer loans, real estate loans, and auxiliary services.
• Deliver face‑to‑face assistance for account inquiries.
• Provide consultative services, assess member needs, address concerns, and obtain agreement.
• Process new memberships, share accounts, savings services, loan requests, and loan fundings.
• Conduct advanced research on accounts, identify and correct problems.
• Complete documentation for accounts and loans per credit union procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of savings and loan products and services.
• Begin specialization in a branch specialty area (savings, consumer, or real estate loans).
• Maintain cash and negotiable items.
• Act as branch liaison to support departments and suggest process improvements.
• Perform file maintenance (address changes, check orders, ATM card orders, etc.).
• Take on vault custodian duties as assigned.

Additional Duties

• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
• Comply with regulatory compliance and training requirements, including BSA regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of previous related experience required.
