Requirements

• Six months of work experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a team and get along with co-workers
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma, high school equivalency, or current high school attendance
• At least 18 years old
• Successful passing of background investigation as per company policy

Job Description

Under immediate supervision, provides exceptional customer service involving cash receipt and payment in a high-volume sales environment. Responsibilities include:

1. Following bank policies and supervisor instructions
2. Achieving monthly new account targets
3. Processing deposits and payouts accurately
4. Verifying cash and checks, including endorsements and counterfeit detection
5. Entering transactions and issuing receipts
6. Selling and preparing financial products such as money orders, bank-to-bank wires, and savings bonds
7. Processing Western Union wires and cash advances
8. Cross-selling bank services and products
9. Serving a diverse customer base, including Spanish speakers
10. Performing additional tasks as assigned

Environmental and Physical Requirements

• Standing or walking for extended periods depending on branch location
• Working in a high-volume, stressful, and noisy environment
• Operating computers and office machinery
• Lifting up to 25 lbs
