Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Marietta, GA is launching a Retail Personal Banker I program. Selected candidates will rotate through operations and Sales & Service during a 4-8 week onboarding, culminating in a certification to qualify for the Retail Personal Banker job family.

The role focuses on consultative selling to identify financial needs, acquiring new households, and deepening relationships while handling teller transactions and serving as part of the platform staff.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience with transferable skills.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic math for credit/financial information.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration required (NMLS).

Responsibilities

• Use the consultative sales process to identify customer needs and build a profile.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products/services and cross-sell appropriately.
• Set appointments for periodic financial reviews using CAMP and other tools.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities.
• Collaborate with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) to deliver holistic solutions.
• Aim to meet/exceed customer experience and production goals and protect customer confidentiality.
