Job summary

Great Southern Bank in Springfield, MO is seeking a Personal Banker I to support retail sales and customer service goals. You will develop relationships, open accounts, and process loan requests, while maintaining compliance with banking rules.

This full-time role involves daily CRM use and regular attendance, with a 40-hour work week. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience, preferably in sales or customer service, with prior banking exposure being

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
1–2 years of related experience and/or training.
At least one year of sales/customer service experience preferred.
Prior banking experience is preferred.
Regular use of desktop/laptop computer and basic software systems.
Basic experience with alphanumeric data entry, PowerPoint, Excel, and word processing.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Responsibilities

Attain sales goals and develop customer relationships.
Identify needs and recommend banking products and services; solicit referrals.
Provide professional customer service including opening new accounts and processing loan requests.
Maintain knowledge of, and comply with, banking regulations and security policies.
Maintain regular attendance and professional communication.
Perform other duties as required.
