Job summary

Fifth Third Bank, Florence, Kentucky, seeks a Retail Personal Banker I after a 4–8 week onboarding with rotations in operations and Sales & Service. You will use consultative selling to identify customer needs, grow new households, and deepen relationships through lobby or aisle engagement and tele-consulting.

You will also process teller transactions, collaborate with partners, and participate in consumer loans and bankcard processes while maintaining risk controls and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience with transferrable skills.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze credit and financial information.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales to build a customer profile and identify needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products and propose solutions.
• Utilize Marketing tools to set appointments for financial reviews.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities.
• Establish relationships with Business Partners for holistic solutions.
• Meet or exceed customer experience and revenue goals.
• Provide guidance to CSRs on sales and referrals.
• Protect customer confidentiality and follow codes of conduct.
