Qualifications

• Typically 1–2 years of relevant experience and/or certification or equivalent education/experience.
• Confident in using social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and apps.
• Some experience in consultative customer service or sales with a focus on personal customer experience.
• Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions to refer to specialists.
• Passionate about helping customers and delivering a personal experience.
• Ability to deliver results in a consultative, team-based environment.
• Resourceful self-starter with courage to approach customers.
• Willingness to collaborate across different capacities as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
• Good verbal and written communication, organization and collaboration skills.
• Aptitude for listening, problem solving and adapting to challenges.
• Basic specialized knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and guides customers and offers advice on digital and self-serve options.
• Identifies referral opportunities with BMO partners to grow customer relationships.
• Conducts client conversations about banking services and channels.
• Meets transaction-based needs with seamless execution.
• Reviews customer profiles and addresses everyday banking and credit card needs.
• Contributes to branch business results and customer experience.
• Supports operational activities and risk/compliance processes.
• May work at multiple branches or through various channels as needed.
