Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, high school equivalency or currently attending high school.
• Six months of work experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and handle cash in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products and services to support financial success.
• Follow bank policies and supervisor directions.
• Be accountable for monthly new account production as assigned by upper management.
• Participate in in-store prospecting and a sales-focused environment.
• Process deposits and pay out funds, balance daily operations.
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts, and check endorsements.
• Enter transactions into computer and issue receipts; sell money orders and bank services.
• Process wires and cash advances; cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base.
• Perform tasks as requested by supervisors; maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
