Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of work experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must pass background investigation according to company policy.
• Must be able to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, handling cash receipts and payments in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products and services.
• Follow bank policies and supervisor directions.
• Contribute to new account production goals as assigned by management.
• Engage in in-store prospecting within an active sales environment.
• Process deposits and cash transactions accurately and balance daily operations.
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Identify counterfeit items and verify customer identification.
• Enter transactions, issue receipts, and handle money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base, including Spanish-speaking customers.
• Perform other tasks as requested by supervisors and maintain regular attendance.
