Job summary

First City Credit Union is seeking a Personal Banker/Branch Service Representative (Floater) to assist members at two branches in Los Angeles and Pasadena. You will handle teller transactions, answer inquiries, and guide members to appropriate solutions.

Responsibilities include opening accounts, processing loans, and providing product recommendations. Requires a high school diploma and at least two years in a financial institution, with strong communication and sales skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Two years of financial institution experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service and sales skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent critical thinking skills.

• Processes Visa cash advances and loan payments, and updates member address information.
• Opens various credit union accounts, including IRAs, trusts, term certificates, shares and share draft accounts.
• Interviews loan applicants, counsel's members regarding consumer loan options, prepares documents and loan records, and makes sound recommendations to Loan Officers.
• Discloses and funds approved loans. In the event a loan is denied, explains reason for loan decision.
• Determines members' financial needs and provides products and service information to them that meets those needs.

Additional Information:

• Full Time, Mon-Sat, must be available and flexible with schedule
• Will float between two branches (Los Angeles and Pasadena)
