Personal Banker Associate II - Hays Farm (Huntsville, AL)

Position Overview

We are seeking candidates for the role of Personal Banker Associate II at Hays Farm, Huntsville, AL. This full-time position involves completing a 4-8 week onboarding program, including rotations in Operations and Sales & Service, culminating in certification to perform as a Retail Personal Banker II. The role focuses on sales development, relationship building, and providing comprehensive banking solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Engage in consultative sales processes to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
  2. Develop and maintain knowledge of retail banking products and promote their benefits to customers.
  3. Proactively reach out to customers using marketing tools, and participate in community financial literacy events.
  4. Collaborate with business partners to offer holistic financial solutions and refer customers as appropriate.
  5. Meet or exceed customer experience and sales goals, contributing to revenue growth.
  6. Assist in the training of Customer Service Representatives in sales and referral processes.
  7. Ensure customer satisfaction through professional and friendly service, maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
  8. Participate in the loan process and bank opening/closing procedures as directed.
  9. Stay updated on retail procedures to mitigate risks and prevent fraud.
Qualifications
  • College degree or relevant work experience.
  • Experience in financial services preferred.
  • Strong sales, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to represent Fifth Third Bank professionally.
  • S.A.F.E. Act registration via NMLS required.
Working Conditions
  • Office environment with extended computer use.
  • Travel within the affiliate for training and scheduled activities.
