Job summary

First Bank is seeking a Personal Banker in Iowa to deliver exceptional customer service, open and maintain customer accounts, and originate loans. You will guide customers in choosing financial products to meet goals such as purchasing a car or home improvements, while building relationships with existing customers.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2+ years of customer service experience, and are NMLS registered or eligible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Must be NMLS registered or eligible to be NMLS registered.
• Previous banking experience and a 2-year degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, quality customer service in response to questions, concerns and requests.
• Open, close and transfer accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, business, etc.).
• Assist with maintenance of a wide variety of accounts.
• Issue debit cards and handle disputes.
• Cross-sell bank products and deepen customer relationships.
• Assist customers through loan applications, document prep and closing.
• Support other bank activities as needed.
