First Bank is seeking a Personal Banker in Iowa to deliver exceptional customer service, open and maintain customer accounts, and originate loans. You will guide customers in choosing financial products to meet goals such as purchasing a car or home improvements, while building relationships with existing customers.
Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2+ years of customer service experience, and are NMLS registered or eligible.

As a Personal Banker, you will provide excellent customer service, open and maintain customer accounts, and originate loans for customers. By pairing customers with the financial products and services they need you will help them meet their diverse financial goals such as purchasing a car, making home improvements, or making paying monthly bills not so much of a chore.
To be best prepared for this position, excellent customer service and communication skills as well as confidentiality are a must. In addition, problem solving and prioritization skills will help you excel. You must have at least a high school diploma, 2 years of customer service experience and currently be NMLS registered or eligibility to be NMLS registered. Previous banking experience and a 2-year degree in business, finance or related field are preferred but not required.
Hours are Monday - Friday 8am-5pm and rotating Saturday schedule 8:30am-11am (11 per year).
