Position Overview

As a Branch Sales and Service Associate I [in a Universal Branch or in an In-store Branch], you will strengthen customer relationships through a defined sales process. You will spend most of your time as a personal banker, engaging customers in sales conversations to identify appropriate financial solutions.

This position, within PNC's Retail Branch Banking Network, is based in Ocean City, NJ at the Ocean City New Jersey branch, located at 900 CENTRAL AVE, OCEAN CITY, NJ 08226.

Job Description
  1. Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities. Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve financial wellbeing. Collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow the customer's share of wallet. Position PNC solutions to drive revenue and loyalty.
  2. Drive proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions, including outbound calling, service-to-sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and lobby engagement, to elevate client loyalty. Deliver comprehensive PNC conversations to identify suitable solutions, leveraging partnerships and community centers of influence.
  3. Create customer loyalty and grow share of wallet by providing a differentiated experience. Perform lobby activities to connect with customers and educate them on managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources.
  4. Apply product and procedural knowledge to resolve customer issues effectively, enhancing loyalty.
  5. Manage risk by adhering to policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment, and participating in branch operations efficiently and accurately.

  • Managing Risk: Able to assess and manage risks in accordance with PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
Qualifications

Candidates should demonstrate relevant skills, competencies, experience, and education. Typically, a minimum of 3+ years of experience and an Associates degree or equivalent is required. In lieu of a degree, a combination of education, certifications, and experience may be considered.
