This is a fast-paced, interactive position with CCFBank, a successful financial institution with locations throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota. We’re seeking a friendly, and customer-oriented individual who is eager to build and maintain customer relationships.

As a Personal Banker you will discuss, explain, promote and sell products and services to current and/or potential customers and assist them in opening the products and services that best fit their needs. You will be skilled in the areas of teller, vault, safe deposit, lending and provide leadership, training and support to branch staff and other colleagues. The ideal candidate is a collaborator who works well in a team environment with excellent communication skills. This job requires a patient and stable work style and consistency in dealing with repetitive routines. A service- and team-oriented mindset is essential to success. The work requires attention to detail. The person in this position must be able to manage details with relative accuracy and careful attention to quality. The pace of work is steady and relatively unhurried. This job focuses heavily on working with and through others, building and maintaining relationships, and working closely and accurately within established guidelines. It requires an effective communicator: someone who is able to motivate others while understanding and responding to their needs and concerns. This role involves meeting and working with many different people. The person in this position must be friendly and genuinely interested in the needs of others, whether that's managers, team members, customers, or the company itself. This person must have a persuasive, teaching-oriented mindset and be able to easily communicate the company's policies, programs, and systems.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provides assistance to all assigned areas of branch operations where needed, including new accounts, teller, safe deposit, vault teller and lending.
  • Assists consumer and business customers in their selection of various accounts, products and financial services available from the Bank; ensures cross-sell opportunities are presented by applying professional sales techniques.
  • Makes decisions regarding the opening of new deposit accounts; completes forms requiring customer signature(s); accepts initial deposits; prepares all documents and items pertaining to new accounts for processing. Presents funds received from customer to teller for initial deposits; determines funds availability and obtains receipt for customer.
  • Provides exceptional customer service by answering customer questions; investigates and corrects errors; and resolves problems or other issues within given authority.
  • May assist in opening and closing the vault daily; may provide dual control in verifying cash/coin sold or bought from the vault, may assist in balancing vault currency and coin.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field.
  • Substitution: Three (3) years of directly related full time experience performing the functions outlined above may be considered in lieu of the degree.
  • Three (3) years of experience in the financial services industry performing teller job duties.
  • Three (3) years of experience working in sales or customer service

  • Monday – Friday work week; occasional Saturdays required.
  • Competitive Pay ranging from $20.09 - $28.14 hourly.
    • The salary range provided is based on the primary location and may vary depending on the job's specific location. This range reflects the anticipated base pay for the position. The final salary offered will take into account internal equity and may differ based on various factors, including work location, the candidate's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Eligible for a bonus based off your earnings, company goals and performance.
