Job summary

Univest is hiring a Personal Banker to build customer relationships and help clients reach their financial goals. You will handle teller and platform transactions, adhere to policies, and develop cross-sell opportunities while growing with Univest.

The role includes supervising staff, training, and staying compliant with banking regulations. The position offers comprehensive benefits, ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement within a community-focused bank.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
• Experience in Retail Sales or Telemarketing with proven sales results.
• Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory ability.
• Energetic and engaging interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with MS Office Suite.
• Experience in banking or completion of ABA Banking Basics suite.
• Proficiency in daily operational procedures.
• Completion of SSR Suite Training.
• Notary training completion if applicable.
• NMLS registration where required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all teller and platform transactions promptly, efficiently, and accurately.
• Adhere to all procedures including operational and corporate customer service guidelines.
• Operate technology as required.
• Supervision of teller operations.
• Increased responsibility and adherence in signing authority.
• Identify customer needs and cross sell opportunities to develop new business.
• Develop working relationships with integrated partners.
• Proactively initiate sales conversations.
• Participation and management of tele-consulting efforts.
• Develop knowledge and understanding of Univest Products and Services.
• Leverage bank promotions.
• Adhere to outlined sales flow.
• Learn and become proficient in daily operational procedures.
• Actively participate in branch activities, development and training programs.
• Manage and coach staff to desired performance levels.
• Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Responsibilities

BRANCH HOURS (some locations may vary):

• Monday - Wednsday: 8 am - 4pm


• Thursday: 8 am – 5 pm


• Friday: 8am - 6 pm


• Saturday: 8 am – 1 pm (2-3 per month are required)

POSITION INCLUDES:

• Perform all teller and platform transactions promptly, efficiently, and accurately

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Neat, professional appearance following established guidelines for appropriate dress


• Complete the Univest University Supervisor Certificate Program and the “Coaching for Performance Excellence” course.


• Obtain NMLS registration

Wage Range

The salary for this position starts at $25.00/hr
