This Personal Banker position (also known as a Financial Solutions Specialist at Advia Credit Union) starts at $21.55 per hour, with an uncapped incentive opportunity based on individual performance. Advia offers a bilingual premium for this role, which compensates bilingual employees who regularly use their language skills to assist members. Proficiency testing is required, with a specific need for Spanish language proficiency.

Role Overview:

The primary function of this role is to proactively identify financial solutions for members by interacting in person and via proactive phone calls. You will leverage products and services that can save members money and time, generate income, add convenience, or provide peace of mind, all by delivering outstanding service aligned with our core values: Act with Integrity, Drive Progress, Build & Strengthen Relationships, and Keep People at the Core.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interview members in person and by phone, explaining services, products, and policies. Identify needs and actively cross-sell Credit Union offerings professionally, including outbound calls related to CRM and other leads.
  • Advise members on money management and financial matters, communicate loan decisions, and guide future actions.
  • Perform accurate lending functions and offer solutions including HELOC and Business Lending.
  • Build and maintain a book of business, proactively managing a pipeline to enhance members' financial well-being.
  • Handle new account functions, explain options, and gather necessary documentation.
  • Cross-sell electronic services, assist with enrollment, and explain e-statement processes.
  • Maintain the Credit Union’s reputation for quality and professionalism, staying informed on policies, procedures, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

Experience in a goal-oriented environment is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, courtesy, and tact are essential, as this role involves personal contact with members and internal staff.
