Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, assist with account inquiries, resolve minor issues, and provide prompt, professional service.
• Identify customer needs and proactively introduce relevant banking products and services or refer clients to appropriate specialized team members.
• Follow all bank policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements to safeguard customer information and bank assets.
• Maintain accurate logs, organize records, and assist with general branch operational duties as needed.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and customer-focused Personal Banker to join our team in Englewood, CO. As the face of our financial institution, you will provide excellent customer service by efficiently and accurately processing day-to-day financial transactions.

The ideal candidate possesses strong interpersonal skills, a high level of numerical accuracy, a passion for assisting clients with their financial needs, honesty and integrity. Prior experience in banking, accounting, or cash handling is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Transaction Processing: Accurately handle daily financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, and official check issuances.
• Cash Management: Balance cash drawer accurately at the beginning and end of each shift in compliance with established limits and balancing standards.
• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, assist with account inquiries, resolve minor issues, and provide prompt, professional service.
• Product Cross-Selling: Identify customer needs and proactively introduce relevant banking products and services (e.g., savings accounts, online banking) or refer clients to appropriate specialized team members.
• Compliance & Security: Follow all bank policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements (including BSA/AML compliance, Fraud Prevention, and KYC procedures) to safeguard customer information and bank assets.
• Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate logs, organize records, and assist with general branch operational duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• High School Diploma or greater.
• 1+ years of customer service or face-to-face client interaction experience.
• Strong basic math skills and high attention to detail.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic database software.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.

Preferred:

• 1+ years of experience in banking, accounting, bookkeeping, or cash handling.
• Familiarity with Fiserv bank operating systems/core software.
• Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) are a plus.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Stand or sit for extended periods behind a teller counter or window.
• Lift and move cash drawers, coin bags, or documents weighing up to 25–30 lbs.
