Position Overview

As a Personal Banker, you will strengthen customer relationships through a defined sales process. You will engage customers in sales conversations to identify appropriate financial solutions. This role is based in Chicago, IL at the 18th & Clark Branch, with Bilingual Mandarin preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities, managing the customer experience and collaborating with ecosystem partners to grow share of wallet.
2. Drive proactive sales conversations through various interactions, including outbound calling, service-to-sales, teller interactions, and lobby engagement, to enhance client loyalty.
3. Create customer loyalty and increase share of wallet by providing a differentiated customer experience and educating customers on managing financial transactions using technology and resources.
4. Apply product and procedural knowledge to effectively resolve customer issues, driving loyalty.
5. Manage risk by adhering to policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment, and participating in branch operations efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications

• Typically requires an Associates degree or equivalent plus 3+ years of related experience, or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• Skills include accountability, banking, client loyalty, customer experience, proactive sales, and leveraging technology.
• No specific certifications or licenses are required, but candidates will undergo background checks as per regulations.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary ranges from $46,800 to $69,000, with incentive eligibility based on performance. PNC offers comprehensive benefits, including health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, and wellness programs.
